3D Printing in Basingstoke and Hampshire

Digirotor can offer 3D printing using our in house Bambu Lab P1S printer. Our printer has and will always operate isolated from Bambu's cloud, this means that your print information remains only within our network and will not be shared with Bambu. This is great for those who are prototyping or making items that are commercially sensitive.

We envisioned this service as offering a printing service to those in the local area who may not have a printer, or who's printer may have broken or not be capable of printing in the filament you need. We may also be able to offer urgent / last minute prints within hours - but this is subject to availability.

Our office is near Basingstoke in Hampshire. You can either collect or we can arrange delivery.

We've experienced this issue ourselves, needing a last minute urgent print, but not being able to find anywhere locally who can offer this service. No need to ask your friends for a favour or worry about the technical settings - we've got it covered for you.

We have a range of filament in house including PLA, Tough PLA and TPU. If we don't have the colour or type you need - we can either source this, or you can provide your own.

Printing

How our printing service works:

1. Using our 3D printing form at the bottom of this page to submit a request.

2. We will review your request and contact you to confirm the details

3. We can either arrange collection, or if within 40 miles we can arrange delivery of your printed items

Filament Drying

We have a polymaker filament drying system. This is more accurate and safer than using an oven / air fryer or other DIY methods. We can offer filament drying and loan you a dry box to allow you to print with filaments that often struggle with high humidity levels.

Design

We can assist with designing basic 3D objects, particularly FPV related components. We already have a library of existing designs to work from or we can work with you to design something from scratch. Please use the contact form below to get in touch.

Pricing

Our pricing is competitive, however we do not operate at scale, and our main focus is on urgent and last minute requests. Please bear this in mind when considering if our printing will be suitable for you.

3d Prints - Charged based on slicing software calculations which will take into account filament, machine time, power/cooling etc. Urgent prints will be charged a 30% surcharge for completion within 48 hours, and 35% for completion within 24 hours.

Delivery of prints / dry filament / box - £8 + £0.30 for each mile outside of 5 miles from our office outside Basingstoke

Filament Drying - £1.07p per 60 minutes of drying, this will be rounded up (e.g 1h45 minutes would be rounded up to 2 hours of drying) - can be combined with delivery as well.

Filament Dry Box Hire - For any period from 1 - 14 days = £1 per day, 15+ days = £0.75 a day. This includes material inside the box to help keep the filament dry

All printing must be paid for in advance of starting the job. We do not charge for prints that fail as a result of machine or power failure, and your job will be restarted if this happens. We do charge if the print failure is a result of filament you have chosen, the STL file not being correct and causing print issues and if we advise you that the print carries a high risk of failure prior to the job starting.
